I am currently in day 5 of my flowering cycle. When is it a good time to cut the lower branches to give more growth to the top bud sites? Clones? I am also wanting to transplant my girls into larger pots as they are getting huge!!! How do i go about transplanting without hurting the girls? Peace

I would take the clippings now, I took mine first time during flower but from now on you should be taking the cuttings from your vegging girls. Pick the best one as your mother plant

You should cut the lower growth BEFORE going into flowering.

he said it best, the reason its hard to take clippings during flowering is because the plant is focussed on making flowers and not making roots/leaves.
its possible to take clones at any time (vegging or flowering) it just gets harder and harder the farther along your plant is in flowering

Exactly, i remember my first time cloning I was doing a seed grow and did not realize that after the plant matures in veg it will show its pre flowers without forcing the flower just to sex plant. My first clones actually had flowers and it takes a bit to get them back into veg, so thats why I said once you establish your female next time take the clones before flower period so its easier to catch root.
