When can I smoke my males?

I dont mean literally I mean cut them down. Im waiting for them to drop there pollen so that i can collect it for breeding purposes later on. but its been 9 days and theres ony more and more balls not bigger balls ready to pop and im becoming impatient. so the question is. How long does it take for pollen sacs too mature?

come on somebody has got to know this.

I believe it takes approx. 3-4 weeks for the pollen to mature.

wow that sucks. thank you though, its growing and inch and a half every day, good thing its only 10'' right now huh. so I have like two weeks left. I guess i'll just spend my time waiting to buy more stuff for my next go at it.

lol yeah take even more patience when it isnt even going to get me any good bud until a year from now probally if you freeze pollen it will stay viable for at least 6 months right?

I was just going to let it drop into a small zip lock baggy then roll it up stuff it in some cellophane off of a cigarette pack, seal it shut and toss it in the deep freeze. Do you think that is fine or does it need to dry out first? when there ready to pop open i could just cut the branches and lay them on a plate till it opens up then let it dry and scrape up the pollen with a razor blade?

Ya know, I'm not 100% sure about that, FDD2BLK has a great thread in here somewhere, maybe in the advanced section? On harvesting pollen - you might wanna search for that, I think it would be more helpful than I can be on this.

Wait for sacs to start opening, cut plants down and hang upside down for a night. Put large brown paper bag over the plant and shake the bejesus out of it. the pollen will go in the bag and you can collect it. A little pollen goes a long long way.

lol no kidding man I smoked a fan leaf out of desperation the other day and it actually got me a good buzz for a couple hours i was surprised as hell . but for a male this thing has some crystals going and has smelled like lemons the whole time and is starting to smell skunky too. crazy shit just it was just some reggies I picked up for 5$ a gram doesn't mean it didn't get pollinated by something special though. cant wait to throw this pollen on a hot female of similar aroma and structure.

I actually just planned on cooking it down in some milk on low low heat, until its almost condensed then strain out the plant material, add some sugar and make some weed caramels lol.
