When Buying A House - What should I look for?

Any tips or suggestions? Some struggles you went through?

How close can live to other people? Is suburbia okay - or should it be in a more rural area?

Should it be in the basement or the attic?

Large dry basement. Fuck growing in an attic if unless you have to.

You can grow in an apartment with appropriate filtration.

My friends just bought a new house and I'm so jealous. It has two basements. One is completely finished and the other is just a big 20X30 room with 9 foot ceilings. The entrance to it looks more like a linen closet in corner.

Soon as I saw I thought "Man I could make the nicest, most inconspicuous grow room around with this" Unless they point it out you would never realize there is a second basement.

I agree with philo2 that if the house has a good basement, then buy it. But if you can't find a house with a good basement then I suggest just use a guest room, if you have one, and if nobody ever visits you. But seing that most everybdy has people over at their house then I can't realy give you any good advice. Unless your a closet grower

just out of curiosity.

How large of a basement are we looking at? Is 30 feet from the neighbors good enough? or is that just asking for trouble? for example - what happens when the power goes out? wouldn't my carbon scrubber become ineffective and the smell would be released?

All depends on how air tight your room is. I have a scrubber in the room and another carbon filter on my exhaust air.....so if your room is air tight and you have a setup as i listed.....or even one with just a scrubber and no contact to outside air...you will be just fine.

Also. what size operation are we talking about here...2 plants or 200 lol?

if you wanted to go big, i'd do a mother tent 4x4, a clone, veg+clone tent, and a flower tent for a perpetual yield...

The most important thing to look for? Make sure you aren't getting a balloon mortgage.Have the contract looked at by a professional.
