Hi all good people..
I have 4 diy cob and they can go from 88w to 240w. I can dimm it on hlg driver...

So I read that small plant can absorb small amount of light so I am at day 11 in my grow with current 88w 50 cm from the plant. But I think the grow is slow for such good spectrum as cobs have so thinking if amount of w is what couse slow growth..
The strain is speedy boom automatic from kanabia and as you can see it is auto strain so every day count for big harvest.
I just want to know when and how often to go up with w and to not stunned the plant to much..

I have lux meter and it's showing me 13k lux on top of the canopy..
I mean plant is very tight and doesn't strach to lights but just want that max absorbing to hit her and not to be stunning

Any good advice will be helpful

:)

i run 4 cobs, ( luminus) and that is my target for seedlings. I actually have 2 seedlings that are just starting to lift from the first set of germination leafs, and they are getting 250 par right now. Let them grow TO THE LIGHT from there. Plan your grow to use 350-400 PAR thru veg, and then 400-600 PAR for Flower. ( 30-40,000 LUX) But thats what works for me, using my Luminus, they are very good cobs, and you dont need to be hammering them with alot of PAR, as Ive found.

This is coming up a lot on here lately.... Especially in the LED section. I'm almost certain it has to do with the lack of heat and IR to dry out media like HIDs normally do.
This slow growth people are experiencing is OVERWATERING in almost all cases.

I definitely owverwater last time.. Now I will wait bone dry top of the soil... I mean I read water every few days but with cobs on 80 w top of the soil is good for a week in my case...and now I have auto strain so don't know can I let root search for the water and when
Temperature is min. 17 at night and average 22-23 c light on. 20/4
So I think is OK...

Last night after I read @InTheValley advice I lowered cobs to get 16 000 k lux on top of the plant and men after 8 h when I opened tent that fresh main top was so praying.. stressed.. 2 fresh leaves on that tops was sooo close to each other.and leaves on other part of plant was curling . and I go back to 13 500 lux and now is OK...

But still don't have a clue when and how to play with the driver... It is crazy to me when I go up on driver 20-30w on the driver the lux meter stay the same but when I lower cobs close to the plant I see lux go up

Umm, 98% will tell you praying leaves is a good thing, and 1-2 will say they need mag. Ive toyed with VPD, high temp, low temp high humidity, low humidity, and when my leafs pray, is always telling me they are enjoying the environment, and this is when you write down your temp and humidity, because they like it the best at that setting, and you should aim for that exact settings. mine pray almost all the time.

u have a pic? im saying, 11 days to you might be different then 11 days to me.

14500 k lux on top of that new shot.. And yesterday when I was on 15-16k that 2 leaves was so much praying so so close to each other... This on the picture is not praying how it was...

What do you think is it healthy and good progress for day 12...
I also noticed that stem is peeling at the bottom of the plant and I think I read that is good sign..

Thank you all for the answer

;)
