IMG_4965.jpgIMG_4967.jpgIMG_4960.jpgIMG_4968.jpgIMG_4959.jpgIMG_4966.jpgIMG_4961.jpg OK, here we go again! This time, the plants are already vegged up to where I want em', cause I know how these Rommies stretch in the first few weeks of bloom.I left out the 4 corner plants, and put them in 7 gallon pots instead. So, there is 12 in the bed. I just clear cut the bottoms tonight, and stole the cuts for clones.
The soil mix is my latest version of a super-soil type deal, that I'm hoping I will not have to feed any yea or anything at all. We shall see, haha. It's close to my old mixes, but I backed off the nitro quite a bit, cause I'm not really vegging in it at all, and I've added a couple things I don't usually use cause I feed the teas, but without that, I needed a couple more ingrediants.
I have 2 600 watt HPS on it this time, instead of the 1000 and the 600, so a total of 1200 watts on a 4x4 is still overkill a little, but I do it mainly for coverage. It worked real well on that last run. I still don't have a total yield yet of course, but it did good! I think these Romulan are gonne really blow up in here, so hang on...here we go!!

IMG_4984.jpgIMG_4983.jpgIMG_4981.jpgIMG_4982.jpgIMG_4986.jpgIMG_4985.jpgI didn't realize how mush these things grew in thier first week of flowering, and thier first week in this bed. I thought the first week, they would be adjusting, and not really growing at all, but as you can see, they don't seem to even notice they were moved. No shock, no stress, just took off!. I'll try to have a total yield on that last one I did in this bed when I get it, but I can tell you this, I got a QP off the one LA Con! These Rommies should do even better!

Subscribed. How do you go about watering? Where does the runoff go?

Can't wait to see how densely packed with colas that room will be in a few weeks. Looks great.

it goes on the floor hahah. I try to water to where it barely runs off, you don't have to have copious run-off to properly water.

Loved your last grow, thought a indoor bed was a great idea. I'm subbing up for this one. I am thinking of using 2 - 2*3 mixing trays from Lowes to do the same thing as there 8" deep I think they'd work no? And good? About watering and runoff I was wondering the same thing. And your right whezzy you don't have to water until there's alot of runoff only if there's a major issue like overfeeding where you would overwater too leach the soil of excess nutrients. Good luck on this go round wheezer. Thanks for sharing

How do the ones in the buckets compare to the bed ones? They look the same but can't quite tell. I can tell why you like the Rom's they are full of vigor.

It's interesting though, the ones in the pots are stretching more than the ones in the tray. The ones in the tray are growing tighter nodes. I'll bet that in the end, the ones in the tray will have heavier buds. I guess we'll see. They are 2 weeks into flower now, and not showing much, but they sure have stretched out in the last 2 weeks. Normal stretching for this strain. They should slow down and start fattening up now. The next 2 weeks should be a little more interesting.

I have to ask how you are keeping this area cool? People have been saying a 600 watt hps in a 3' x 3' x 6' cabinet with a dayton 465 cfm blower is going to end up too hot for me, and now i see this in a 4' x 4' and it gives me faith

You'll be fine, as long as you're using an air cooled hood.

I got a vent bringing in outside air, which is butt cold at night when the lights are on. I have it set-up to blow in right across the top of the plants, and this is not a sealed tent, so heat build-up is not an issue, it seaps out into the rest of the garage, and helps keep it warm in there.

You got a veritable forest there, wheezer! Looking forward to seeing some pistils next!
