SoCal.

Very strange weather our way. Been heavy rain and thunderstorms on and
off. It rained every day for a week, a week ago. Got a few light rains this

week also. Its just, I'm not used to rain here in SoCal.

So when we were getting up to 2 inches of rain every hour and a half, everything
got muddy, and I had alot of trouble seeing the road.

On the other hand, the mountains are beautiful. Its snowed a couple of feet up there.

Snapped a few pictures.

Weather has been fairly warm today, so warm I actually started digging trenches
for my potatoes.

OK, enough of my ranting. Btw, right now its still a pretty warm 38 degrees. Thats
damn warm for the dead winter. I love California.

=D

I live in the valleys, so I get to wake up to those lovely snow coated mountains every
morning until it melts.

Here in NC we normally get 1 or 2 inches of snow if any but we are in the middle of a snow storm with 10 plus inches and more to come and a high in the low 20's, only 30 degrees shy of the normal high in the low 50's.

Well this really sucks.
I woke up this morning to a couple of mm of snow.
And now it has changed to a light coastal rain.

6 inches of snow last night... followed by 2 hours of freezing rain, which promptly froze everything into a continuous sheet of ice. then it dumped another inch of snow on top of that, so all the roads are pretty much a sheet of ice with an inch of snow on top of it... my car couldnt get up the 3 degree slope of my deiveway without losing traction. makes for fun driving here in the south..... the municipalities here are really not set up to deal with it. at least the power didnt go out!
