Nice looking flower garden! What's the spectrum on the HLG's you are using? Mine are the older 3000k boards..

Thanks dude! They are the V2 rspec. If you look at the absorption spectrum, it looks basically like the 3000K with a little more blue(better veg than the 3000k) and a little more red. I have been pleased with how they are performing so far, but not as good as the HLG 600 in the 4.5 x 4.5, that thing is a beast! About a week left with that one

My normal yield in my 5X5 organic no-till just with regular LED lightbulbs from Walmart, Dollar Store, Home Depot, etc. for 4 plants is over 1kg, (2.4 pounds) and my record was just over 3 pounds. I have new lights now, but I'm only growing one plant under them right now.

Same, I'm doing like 4Kg 1 plant.
I dont think my current one plant will yield more than 800 grams - so well under 1kg. And that's with over 3 months veg!
That must be a monster indoor plant you grew under whatever lights you didn't mention for it to yield 4kg. What size growing area? Got photos?

Your setup is really nice, but for me it's also kind of insane to run that much light just to veg 4 seedlings! I can run 4 seedlings for their first 35 days under just 80watts of light and get the same growth rate as when running those same 4 seedlings under 300watts of light. Yeah, when it comes to seedlings less than 35 days old, using more light than what is actually necessary does nothing but waste ones money!

No worries, my DLI is only at 30 right now (day 25 from seed)
So they are getting ~425 ppfd on 18/6 cycle

Once I get past week 5 or so of veg, I will ramp up to almost 50 DLI, which is 750 ppfd on 18 hours.
After I switch to flower, my DLI will drop to 30 for the first week while the plant adjusts. But by mid flower I will hopefully ramp up to 50 DLI by week 4 flower. (1150 ppfd)
I'd like to hit 60 DLI but I don't think I can put out that high ppfd.

Nobody mentions how long they run their flower, 10 week strain is 25% more light than a 8 week strain.
I think our best was around 60g/square foot or about 2.2ounce per foot with around 35w per foot, 10 week Amnesia Haze cut.

im pretty sure genetics plays more of a factor in yield than flower time, otherwise we'd all be running our plants in 12/12 until they die lol

If youre working with low yielding genetics no amount of extra time will change the yield. But generally speaking, from growing comercial for years, the best yielding cuts are +9 weeks.
