What do y'all think of this interview? I think he was looked up to as a genius for the simple fact that he was 100% real and honest with nearly everything that went on in his life. He talked about things like love, hate, drugs, money, compassion, politics, family problems, relationship problems, media biases, friends and basically things that every man, woman, and child go through.
You gotta understand where pac was coming from. He grew up in new york, baltimore, and oakland ghettos...his mom was a crack fiend for a long while during his adolescence and he was raised by drug dealers, prostitutes, and gangsters. He really built himself up to the heights that he did all by himself. He wasn't born into any thing. It's like one of his favorite quotes...If you saw a rose growing from the concrete, you wouldnt judge the rose because of its busted pedals and wiry stem. You would marvel at its beauty for beating the odds. So when you see Tupac's flaws - the ones that are deeply rooted in the situations he was raised in - people should take those as just some imperfections that comes with his shining persona.
