What’s your system

Hi guys I have my grow in flower 2 weeks in.. I also have my cutting that rooted about a week ago.. I have them in a wardrobe doing really well. But my question is do I need to get another tent? The ones in flower have 7 weeks to go.. so what I’m saying is I can’t keep them in the wardrobe for that amount off time they will be to big.. how big a tent do you recommend for 9 plants?

As large as you can afford and fit into the place you grow. You can always up-size lights and ventilation slowly if you can't do so immediately.

My system is a 2x3x3' tent with a 240W LED for my aerocloner and two small mother plants, a 2x4x4' tent with a 400W MH lamp for veg, and two 4x4x6.5' tents for flower, one with a 600W HPS and the other with a 1000W HPS. The 600W tent is kind of an experimentation tent, where I put oddball plants that aren't on a scheduled grow cycle, the plants I'm growing for pollen, and my pollinated plants that I'm making seeds with. The 1000W flower tent is for the plants on my normal perpetual cycle.

The tent I’m using for my ones in flower is 3 metre by 2 meter.. but I only use half the tent.. I have 7 in one side of it but they are in flower and the others are baby’s

That's a big tent... 10x7'-ish. What lights do you have in there? I'd get a 5x5' for veg, clones, seedlings and mothers, and use the larger tent for flower.

3 times total on the autos I think. Once in veg. 1st and 3rd week of flower. All fan leaves/larf removed just to make space and they were still really cramped.
Here are some new plants just before going into flower and the one in back of the second picture is about 3 weeks after the same style defoliation...

Do you think that the plant uses to much energy into growing back the main leaves vs putting energy into buds sites? I just cut a lot of leaves off and hidden lower bud sites your pics tell me I didn't do to much which was a worry

I do believe it does take a bit for it to grow the leaves out, the "main" fan leaves never return btw, but once done the only thing left is all completely focused on the bud sites for growth.

To me I feel like it helps me "focus" the plant on where I want it to supply nutrients on flowering instead of vegetative growth. Kind of a "double whammy" when she's thrown into 12/12.

I'm defoliating and giving them 1 week before switching to 12/12 with just minor touchup trimmings in flower as needed to lower stress now.
