What's your experience with fluffy nugs???

OK So yet again a few crappy phenotypes slipped through the cracks and I'm about a week from harvesting BC God bud yet some of the plants are producing the infamous tall fluffy hairy non-indica like nugs.

Has anyone tried leaving fluffy indica plants longer with the hopes of fattening them up??

Did it work and is it worth my time?

80F lights on 70F lights off 50% RH with CO2 supp. lol like I said... genetics. If I were doing it wrong wouldn't they all be producing fluffy nugs? Since it's all the same strain the only variable in this equation is the phenotype.

6x1000w HPS in a closed 14'x16' grow room. I'm using coco-perlite feeding 3x weekly. I've heard keeping night and day temps closer to each other has that effect. Cooler nights really increase the bag appeal though. I guess its a trade off.

Back to my original question... Will leaving this fluffy phenotypes in longer actually make them any denser? Or will they just keep ripening and stay fluffy?
