Uh, that is WEEKS away from harvest. Not even close to being ready.
Give it time and you will see some trichomes...

yeah man give it some time, do you know the strain, not every plant produces massive glands, it can still be a sticky plant with a nice thc %, don't freak, if its a new strain im sure they will come, and like they said get a mag, if you cant afford a good one, most likely someone you know has one you can borrow, anyhow she looks healthy man I wouldn't freak out 
I bet she SURPRISES you! maryjane is a mystery, ive had plants show crystals a week into flowering and ive had them wait until the last week!

Ya it has a month but I have never seen anything this old never having any crystals & its not sticky. I have some that arnt as old as his & their covered, I guess maybe it the variety he has. I I need more advice to tell him cause he wasn't buying the more time & I was kinda there with him some what.

$12 is how much a 40-60x mag costs....go get one (tell him to get one). If you cut it early expect your bud to be premature and not very strong. If you have only been flowering for a month then you are halfway there if not longer. If he needs more advice than that then maybe he should be spending his time doing something else....A good grower must be patient. That includes taking time to properly dry and cure as well.

Its too hot thats why there are no crystals.
- My theory is that the trichomes are there to trap heat to keep the internal temperature at an optimum level for embryo growth. I heard a number of people claim that plants at higher altitudes grow more trichomes. Isn't the ambient air temperature also colder as well as the water?. I've noticed that during times of excessive heat the amount of trichomes goes down. When the water is kept colder and the air below 80 degrees Fahrenheit the trichomes explode out of the plant and cover it, even the edges of the fan leaves. The guys pictures in the beginning of this post is what plants look like under hps anyway if grown right. Another trick iv'e learned is that is you give your plants 50 degree water for 3 days and 48 hours of darkness the amount of trichomes increases significantly right before harvest. So how does UVB directly contribute to trichome production if the most rapid trichome development is during that dark period in the cold water? Anyone got any input on this theory?

I agree that there are probably some strains that do better then others in cooler climate but all climates change. However the plant produces trichs at the later stages of flowering because as a plant it produces oils. These oils are the main component of thc and thd and signal the production of these chemicals. I have found that all of my plants show more trichs about 2 to 4 weeks from harvest they seem to pop up over night and over a week they cover the plant and stems. I have had some frosty nugs even above 85 degrees. From experience I would never shock a plant with 50 degree water if you normally water at room temp. It may hurt your overall yield because the shock time is time the plant could be using to densely pack its nodes which ultimately create the flower/buds.

Im with u on NOT shocking the plants especially these autos cause they will bite back if u screw with them too much. I personally have never incountered this & I don't have a lot of experience in these autos & hes on his first grow & literally about to bust a vein over this. But I guess when u get this much time in it does hurt, but hell, I just cuss a bit & start over. He wont listen when I tell him to leave it alone that molasses wont do anything & more nutes will kill it.

Not trying to hijack a thread, but I've seen molasses suggested a lot. Is that a slang name for a type of fert, or is everyone actually referring to molasses. Sorry if it sounds dumb, I'm still a noob!the molasses does help
but you want to use it in moderation and in the last few weeks it invites pests is why i say be easy on it
but helps by feeding the microscopic buggies there poop super charges the plant

Yes, (Unsulfured Molasses) is high in Nitrogen, and will feed the microbes in your organic grow, and yes it will attract bugs "NASTY" I don't use it...as for the rest of you find something to read and brush up on your growing skills 
...................An auto is a ruderalis strain, which is a very hearty plant and can grow in just about any climate (WEATHER) and any condition (MEDIUM).....but they are also low on the THC percentage scale, that's why I grow "non autos" with a photo period........and as for the original post, when mine look like that I have about 7 to 8 weeks left...good luck

they dont like low drainage soil
and the thc levels on some of the strains are hittin the mid/high levels nowadays
its two hitter quitter and not one hitter
but not gonna lie sometimes when i switch the strains up it will be one hitter for the first couple days
