What's Wrong With My Plants?

bought 2 weeks ago in Long Beach (GDP or Purple Kush grown in oasis medium)

Scotts potting soil w/nutes

CFL's: 4x 26W and 1x 42W 2600k (first few days home only 3x 26W)

18/6

VERY slow veg, not getting any taller, stipules showing

note: I've done some reading - are they in shock? wrong lites? (thought 5800k would be just as good as 6700k - sure a lot cheaper at wallmart - buck a piece even for the flowering lite), need more time to develop roots?

Thanks,

my ghetto grow cab (rubbermaid)

4x26W 5800k, 1x42W 2600k

I'm having nightmares about trying to scrog or LST something this small - itty bity cola's, but I know from my searches and reading that if I wait and continue to provide it should work out

Scott's is higher in nitrogen than anything else, plus the ph is usually around 8. They look like they're clawin up on ya, maybe from to much N, or PH being off.

wat up richjames? what happened to ur avatar of the rottie smoking a blunt?
I see a bit of nute burn at the tips as well. funky looking trunks though. I bet it will grow out of it if he doesnt overwater or feed any additional nutes

Was that a revegged plant or a grafted clone? It cannot be a seedling or a rooted clone.

What you evidently have is a full root structure and a tiny plant. The new plant will try to match the old stem size so that is where much of your growth is going, to make a thick fat stem to match the old one and not as in growing taller and thicker.

Also with a full root system but new growth that while still not as fragile as a seedling it is still not ready for heavy feeding so I would say by the look of things you have some nute burn going on.

Ok, ok, ok...I knew soil might be a problem but couldn't find any w/o nutes - I'll swing past a nursery tomorrow and fix that

so, what about lights?
5800k 26W CFL's okay?
I have enuf?

Thanks for pointing out what I should've seen

these were tiny, and had tiny balls of oasis held together with little rubber bands - a tap and four or five other roots were all that was noticable when i got them, and i'll bet they're not anymore developed now since the soil hasn't dried out (or has it, all that organic material makes it hard to tell - it's moist). The caregiver who helped me pick them out at said "recent growth on the top, recent roots, they'll be okay"

What about the tray they're in - do I need another tray? it's four gallons and I only have 30" above the tray

The cabinet's outside and was glowing like a jack'o'lantern at night, so the foil was to black it out - I'll create some smaller mylar panels to sit closeer to the plants

keep chattin at me - it helps

I transplanted them today (top soil & pumice..?).

Heard about air-pots. I wanted cheap pots - but low and wide. I bought a couple of "water plant" pots - square with mesh holes molded into the sides and bottom. They're 3 or 4 gallon. I hope they don't dry out too fast. I put an inch and a half of pumice on the bottom..?

the tap root and a couple of other tendrils had sunk down 3 - 3 1/2 inches. Hope I was gentle enough and got them out of the air fast enough..?

Thanks again,
