What's wrong with my babies???

Hi everyone, new to the growing lark so please excuse the ignorance. Having a slight prob with my week old young ones. Starting to see slight curling up happning on cornering of the leaves, bit concerned. Suffering from rh if I don't mist every hour rh goes into low 30. Temp hits high 80s as well. Finding it a nightmare to controll both. Just put tray in with perlite soaked it just to see if things change.

What type of light are you using? Also, maybe misting so frequently isn't a good idea. How close is the light as well?

NP if I were you...I'd stop misting the plants while the lights are on. I think you will actually be surprised at how low humidity during veg really effects your plants negatively. If you do want to add humidity, I suggest buying a humidifier or use a bowl with a large surface area full of water. Put that close to your HID with an oscillating fan near by it to circulate the humidity around the room.

What have you been feeding your plants? If anything, hopefully whatever you have used, you made a light mixture.

The perlite is the same thing as the water...maybe even better because if it spills and gets on the floor, you could just sweep it up where a big bowl of water would require more than a broom...

It might be the amount of misting that your doing, that's probs causing the problem. Misting too much can lead to moisture stress. Welcome to RIU, fellow uk'er

Thats what I think it is too. When one starts off growing they tend to over do everything. O well that is what learning is all about.

Thanks fellas for your input. I've not misted at all today just added the perlite and things have settled got 40rh & 76temp. Do you think that will be sufficient for now? Iam hoping when plants get bigger they will produce more rh? I've tried uploading some pics through this iPad but no luck. Any ideas how I upload? No home computer or laptop.

Leave your plants to dry out before u water next too. You don't need the roots damping off/rotting because they have wet feet all the time.

Cheers closetgarderner don't plan on watering again till Monday then ill introduce them to their new feed. While I'm on it have you heard of biobizz biogrow? That's what I plan on using, npk 4.0-3.0-6.0. Any good?

If you can get to something like Photobucket, send pics to there, then upload to here, that's what I do.
