So here is the essentials, the plant is about 23 days old, it is flo feminized seed from dutch passion, about 3 year old seed( this is the first chance ive had to try and grow it), I started the plant off in some cheap soil from walmart with time released food, cant remember the name, it said organic potting soil so I thought what the heck, how much different can this be than expensive stuff, I started it in a small pot and after about a week I could see I was gonna need a much bigger pot, so I transplanted it into a 12 inch pot ( crappy soil and all) and filled in the rest with foxfarm ocean mix, so its about 2/3 fox farm soil but all around the base is still the other stuff, ive been using a 105W CFL about half the day and I put the plant near the window while the sun is shining through , the plant is growing good but it sure doesnt look like anyone elses pics, there isnt really a main cola just one big leaf stretching into the air, about 8inches total, on the opposite side is a withered looking leaf that is all stringy, there are alternating nodes, at least 3 but there are also multiple shoots coming out of the lower node, on top of it all about half my leaves have at least one brown spot near the center, the edges are fine, there is some wrinkling going on with about half the leaves, and a few have slight yellowing, also some of the leaves seem dry, especially the bottom 2,this is my first attempt at growing so I guess i just want some input,Im not really sure about ph, i think the foxfarm comes in at like 6.8 but the other stuff I dont know, I have only watered it about once every 5 days, this last time with some watered down organic nutes, the ph of that water going in was like 6 i think, I realize having the 2 soils mixed like that is probably causing some of the problems, I would try and transplant into all foxfarm soil but If theres a good chance the plant will die or hermie id rather not, I was planning on flowering this next week, damn landlord might do an inspection sometime in nov, so I dont want to start over, do you think it will be alright to flower this girl, if it stays a girl at least, or should I try and fix some of these issues, will the bud be worth smoking, just for personal use, 1/4 ounce lasted me the last 3 years, i dont smoke that much, thanks for any thoughts

i thin you either got a ph problem or heat stress or you are not watering correctly. what are you temps? have you tested the ph of the water you are using to water with? mine is around 8 and i have to use ph down in order to keep my ph levels in check.... you may want to get a ph meter, dont rely on what the soil is telling you. i am growing with ffof but its 100% not a mix with other soil and i have no problems with ph so you might want to transplant into pure ffof and then get the ph correct on your water before watering. also you should let your water sit out for at least 24 hours before giving it to your plant to allow for the chlorine to dissipate. hope i could help some.

also you should make sure that you are going lite on the nutes if you are starting to see some browing on the edges of your leaves as you might be feeding a little much.

I have to say you got a lot of strikes against you.
3 year old seed, feminized so the mother was stresed, crappy soil to start, looks like toxic salt buildup along with improper pH to me.

On the other hand you said a 1/4 oz lasted you three years?
I would say Grow it out. learn something.

Heres what I would recommend you do with little or no equipment.
Get a half gallon of drinking water. don't water for three days. Then take your plant to the sink and slowly pour the half gallon of water in the pot, let it all drain out the bottom. Then wait three or four days. Water with the same for a couple weeks. No nutes, you got plenty.

Look at the new growth, you should see a difference. If it is still retarded then its out of your hands. The embryo had lost its moisture while it was a seed and things are screwed up.

as you said, the transplant from time release to the FF organic is likely a bit of a shock
you didn't mention cutting the FF with any perlite or such, so likely your soil mix has a lot of nutes
think there's a good chance you're seeing a bit of nute burn, i'd think she should grow through it, you probably should cut back on the nutes, that time release stuff is pumping out stuff for sure

Your's look like my retarded super skunk that I started 12/12 from seed then after seeing some white hairs put her back into 18/6. She's now over 5ft maybe even 6ft and looks great. Now mine was basically a reveg so that's why it looked all funky with her single bladed leafs, alternating nodes, all that.

My vote would be to just use water on her for another month and see how she looks after that. I basically agree with cruzer101 because by the time my skunk was ready for flower she was growing an looking normal again.

thanks for all the advice. ok so im just gonna flush it and use just plain water for about a month, hopefully she starts somewhat normal growth, if not hopefully it produces some killer deformed buds.
LOL, yea now that I think about it it was actually 10 Grams I got from MOM all pre-rolled 1 gram joints, so if i know how to do the math on this thats somewhere between a 1/4 and 1/2, this wasnt really my choice, i was a truck driver and although I hear people drive on pot, I wouldnt drive that truck stoned, just too risky, so the only time i had to smoke it was on the weekends, which were usually short and spent with family, but nonetheless if I can get that much out of this plant id be pretty happy, ill post how everything goes.

Heat stress!!! Leaves shrivil up for two lack of water which will also cause your plants to change colors and heat streess! Get some ventalation man!!!
