Just got done looking at my girl and found some of the leaves are looking sick. She is in a 5 gallon planter with MG soil under 2 40W CFL's with 24 hrs a day. I only fed plain filtered tap water about 3 days ago, other than that I don't know what could be causing it. About 2 weeks ago I gave her a full dose of MG all purpose plant food which is 15-30-16, but other than that it's been plain filtered water with a PH around 7.4. Oh, shes around 40 days from seed.
1... you donthave the light to sustain a plant of that size..
2... plants need a certain pH to uptake food.. and the soil can only buffer the water for a certain amount of time..
You probably do not need to feed your plant for 4-6 months if you are using MG soil..

Thanks for the advice, I will take some cuttings when I get the materials. Probably tomorrow, problem is I'm not ready to grow any plants till April. I didn't plan things out right. Any advice on keeping the cuttings dormant for a while? I will try to root a few just for practice. Other than the burn, how do you think she is looking? I say she because she's showing female preflowers everywhere, but I was told she can turn hermie on me or turn out male if I don't flower. I want to keep this plant as a mother... do I need to start 12/12 for a few weeks to make sure?
