Whats the negatives of vegging with hps??

well what is the difference i have an hps ballast can i veg with my hps im gonna be doing a small sea or green grow what will happen and should i flower my plants at 8 inches or 12 inches??? i want an ounce a plant thxs

8in is fine fore a sog. Yes you can veg with a HPS.

7-9 iunno yet ill prolly do 9 not all will be female

Some people dont recommend toping if height is a prob go with LST or ScrOG
