In 92. I witnessed some purps in Hawaii that almost looked black.. It was so smooth with a unreal body/head combo high... i never came accross it again.

Yeah, Da Purps is a classic choice from TH Seeds! What did you pay? Seedboutique.com has them for $85.50 for 10. I LOVE the purple and blue strains for their bag appeal and high. But I like the pure indica's like Purple Star and Twilight by Dutch Passion, or even a 50/50 like Purple 1 from them. Indoors, the short indicas serve me best.
