175 Watt of T5 works better than a 1000 Watt MH?

huh? Maybe if you had alot of plants under 12". If I were vegging anything over 18" though i would prefer the MH i think.

I have a few plants vegging right now though. Some under t5 and some under a 600MH and i would agree that the T5 is as good or better, but i do feel each has its advantages. My current grow is from seed though so the genetic variable i cannot control everything else is the same. When i get some clones i will test. I can get my 600NH wihin 2 inches of the plant though because it runs so cool. I usally run it at 6" or to the spread i need.

My current grow link is in my sig and i have some pics comparing in there...not real accurate though as I am growing from seed.

I have a 600MH in a cooltube.
-From clone
-2 Month veg
-same temps, res temps, nutes, PH.

175W T5 > 1000W MH ... haaaaaaahaaaaaaaa ... maybe if the MH is across the room!
