whats the best soil to grow ?

anyways thanx for all the help guys its not like im just posting questions without looking in to the matter its just that iwanna save myself some money this time cause ive been buying a lots of different types of soils untill now ive spent a lot of cash and time on this SOIL thing man just wanna save myself some money this time maybe i can buy a nice gift for my girl instead of wasting money on dirt. anyways thanx a lot guys, your help is really appreciated.

If you've got money. Its what, between $20 and $28 for a 1.5 cu foot bag? I'll stick with my $54 for 10 cubic feet versus $159.84 plus tax in fox farms median price. Granted it might be a little more with additions and amendments, but most soil treatments are applied after the soil is potted and you'd use it anyway. Most other amendments like lime etc are real cheap and go a long way. I get a 100 pound sack for $16.50, etc.
