i still dont understand man, to me all i keep finding on it is that its a 1 part bloom nutrient, not additive, and nothing about using it throughout the entire grow
 
you have blooming additives, which usually are PK booster.

Then you have 'supplementary' additives, which don't contain nutrients, but may have various anti-stress agents, biological stimulants, amino acids, vitamins, etc..

You also have a category of beneficial bacteria and fungus.

Finally, you have 'enzyme' products, which help break down dead root materials.

It depends what you want really, probably a PK booster will give the best results as its direct nutrients, the anti-stress ones may help round out your edges for transplants or stresful conditions, depending on your grow medium type bacteria/fungus would be helpful too (soil and coco grows mainly)

Let me try again..... Flora Nova Bloom is part of a nute series.... the manufacturor would love to sell you the entire system as a complete nute set. I'm telling you, that you don't need that. I was simply sharing what was taught to me by a fellow RIU grower. He uses ONLY Flora Nova Bloom, no other BS. His motto is KISS. The more shit you add, the more problems you'll have with your plants. Just provide for the plant's basic needs and it'll produce just fine. This guys last grow was one plant, 16 dry ounces of Pineapple Express. He did not mess with any additives that promise bigger yields or thicker buds. He simply used Flora Nova Bloom, all by itslelf. It is part of his KISS system.

I hope this post was clearer and made my point clearer. If not, i'm at a loss for words, and that is rare. lol

You aren't going to google this shit up and confirm it, cause it ain't out on the net as common knowledge. Scottyballs did a grow using only Flora Nova Bloom and nothing else. I was skeptical too, but 16 oz off of one indoor plant? He sold me. I ordered 4 bottles of Nova Bloom and could care less about the nutes in the series.

Keep it sweet and simple....KISS............ I use less than is necessary or recommended, it is easier to fuck up and put a plant back by over fertilising then by under fertilising and frankly have never seen a plant under nourished in my grows. I use the AN connoiseur range and am very happy with it.

ya my bad bro, i was under the assumption that he used it as an additive to his base nutrients.. so that was confusing me haha.. didnt expect for it to just be Flora Nova Bloom and thats IT!! lol.. thats pretty dam awsome! i will SO TRY THAT! thanx man, sorry about that. how long did he veg. for do you know? cuz thats intense, 16 ozs!

i will try and find the exact ingredients to it... i again dont know anything about nutrients, but if its for bloom, how well is it working in veg.? its a 1 part formula tho so i can see how it would have more stuff in it.

It has ALL the nutrients needed for every cycle of plant growth. Here is the link to his old grow journal. His thread has inspired MANY to repeat his process. I think General Hydroponics probably sold 200 waterfarms because of this one thread... :)

I like the sound of using a single nute to achieve great results and do the same myself. Some plants are just better genetically than their bros and sis's and that may have something to do with his 16oz off of one plant. Either way you would only know for sure after a few grows and so far I have much better results using just AN connoiseur, pricey but great.

I would probably agree with you except that Scotty has hundreds of grows over the past 30 or so years and he knows his stuff. Rather than go through trial and error and spend big bucks like I have in the past, I'm adopting his wisdom and using it. I saw the grow from seedling to harvest, I know it's not a fluke. Like i said, that thread convinced many people to go out and buy waterfarms to duplicate what he did in his journal, myself included.

ya i was pretty confused for a little there overthinking like always i guess... but ya Serapis gave me a link where this guy uses just FloraNova Bloom for the entire grow on one plant in a waterfarm of pineapple express and grows 16 ozs!! thats fuckin nuts, i want the 8 waterfarm kit now haha!! awsome!:weed:
 
Yea, I was researching the Lucas formula and Lucas himself said that the General Hydro Flora Nova is probably the best balanced one-part formula out there. I think he said one of the reasons the Flora Nova was so good was because it was balanced in such a way as to make the possibility of calcium/magnesium deficiency much lower. Using Sensa Grow or Botanicare Pure Blend Pro means having to add Epsom salt or Cal/Mag supplements a near certainty. But the Flora Nova is super thick and definitely loaded up with goodies; it's nearly 1.5 grams per ml. A lot of other liquid nutes are generally around 1.1-1.2 grams per ml. I was just at the grow store yesterday and the grow store dude said that the Flora Nova has become so popular that General Hydro is coming out with a new "something something-Nova" (can't remember the exact name off the top of my head). But I did catch that he said the nutrient stack was supposed to be even better than the Flora Nova. Will be interesting to see.
 
So much information. Just wanted to pitch in my $0.02. lol

For vegetative growth, plants require a ratio that is High in N, Low in P and Low in K
For blossoming growth, plants require a ratio that is Low in N, Highest in P, High in K

it's a basic rule of thumb. Keep it in mind when shopping for nutrients. best of luck and godspeed!

Flora Nova is far from having 'every mobile and macro/micro nutrient that the plants need'. They're about 9 minerals short of being complete and from a nutrition perspective, you'd be better off recommending their 3-part. Just look at the label:

dont know anything about dyna grow, just herd from a dude that all he uses is flora nova bloom all the way thru and it works just fine.. he apparently used a waterfarm system and grew one pineapple express plant and got a pound.

didnt make sense to me either.. but ya i will try sticking to an easy kind of all in one line to start out with.. does anyone know of a nutrient i can buy that is 13-13-13? i herd thats a good ratio

13-13-13 is a 1-1-1 ratio which is the same as a 20-20-20 or a 7-7-7. That's an all purpose ratio that should work just fine start to finish. DynaGro and Jacks Classic both carry 1-1-1 ratios and even the GH 3-part can be tweaked for a final NPK ratio of 1-1-1.

Jacks however looks like it's intended for amended soils as it's lacking the secondary macro nutes (magnesium, calcium and sulfur).
