Requiem for a dream.
Man on fire.
Training day.
American gangster.
And I can't believe nobody said it, my favorite movie of all time. CASINO!

i'd go with shawshank redemptioin for number 1.. i can't say how many times i've watched that movie.. only every time it comes on i think..

goodfella's is second.. again, seen it ton's, but gotta be in a gangster mood for it..

i think a bronx tale is a pretty awesome movie for 3

saving private ryan

and the first rule of fight club for last place..
I'm not one for them fancy books with no pictures but I read me one or 2 before. Seriously I used to date this chick that was out there (lol if you knew me that wouldn't narrow it down much) She gave me a book called Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk (the guy who wrote FC) crazy ass read, I've also (not read) seen Choke also a book by Chuck, Fight Club is tame compared to those 2.

I'm not a reader but Fear and Loathing is my top movie probably because I read the book, the movie doesn't have to stretch too far away from the book to be enjoyable.

i'm not a huge reader either, but i read requiem for a dream by hubert selby jr, and the book totally blows the movie away, and the movie was awesome imo..

OK. Back/drunk again and even though they don't technically fit into the last 2 decades...seeing as the second one is from 1990...I would have to put Gremlins 1 & 2 into the mix here. I just watched Gremlins 2 again, and holy fucking shit, is that movie entertaining or what? All the awesome pop culture references to the munsters, rambo, the wizard of oz, etc.... I don't know what it is, but something about that movie/others like it really makes draws me in.

Does the book also have the two broads double dildoing each other in the end also? I haven't seen that movie in a ridiculously long time, and that seems to be all I can remember about it.
