A friend of a friend had connections a decade or so ago and we were able to try some Manali Hash from India in Scotland.

It came in a blue vase which we had to break open and lined inside was the hash! It was soft and brown but as you broke it up you could see a green tinge almost to it.

It was the smoothest/ best feeling high I’ve ever had from weed!! Man I wish I had that stuff on demand!

alot of these new folks wont understand but i will tell you the early 60s to late 70s was a blessing for hash lovers. everything seems to disapear now
 
anyone ever herd of hash being cut or mixed with opium. at another party, i was smoking this mouldy looking lebanese hash, thicker then the presses leb and this black hash they said was cut or mixed with opium, whatever it was, it was fucking good too
 
It's a tie between good Pakistani and Afghan hash ive had some really nice charas from India as well and some nice leb and Moroccan
 
Somehow, I ended up in a place with a person who just kept packing me hash rips of so many different kinds of hash. It was easily the most stoned I have ever been. So stoned that I could barely keep up with the conversation about how their weed had gotten into High Times magazine from a Cannabis Cup. They showed me the pics of the bud in the magazine and everything. At the time, High Times was it, and I was impressed. I'm pretty sure I was nonresponsive at that point, but it was a really great high.
I could tell hash was an art form to them. Each had a unique taste and buzz. After a while though.......I'll never forget the night I probably don't remember.
 
1981 Toledo Ohio we had " blonde lebanese " hash for about 6 months. Yellow brown that I remember being slightly squishy when warmed with your hand to make a disk on top of a bowl of pot.
Oily smoke but very smooth. 3 bowls trashed your pipe or bong and we did not have Randy's back then it was boiling your steel stems.
After having access to good hash for that long pot did not work for a few weeks.
 
Hard to say what was the best, Lebanese blond and red were great. Afghanistan black was memorable. Moroccan was fire.Pakistan black was good. Nepalese temple balls were pretty fucking good. I think my favorite was the Afghanistan black.
