the single yellow leaf actually fell off today. as for the MG soil. i was really waiting for it to run outa the auto nutes its got in it that way i could start feeding it the correct nutes when i water it. I just got back from the post office and my PH meter and my TDS meter came in. so now i have those and was hopen i could try to run some tests on at least 1 of the plants. because i am not fully sure of there ph levels. the tests i was usen went by color matching and my color didnt match any of them. it was right between 6.5 and 7.0 estimated by the color i got. but my moisture/light/ph meter has always read them burried at 8.0 so i have 2 differant out comes from each test. i just am not sure how to use these Hanna meters yet... Do they come calibrated? and if they dont have do i calibrate it? as for lights. i have about 20 spare 6500k 100watt equivlent cfls just hanging around and another 6 Y splitters also. just lack of room for me to add them with out them touching the leaves. i have the largest 2700k cfls home depot sold they where 15 dollors each. 150watt equivlent.

Some insects thrive on moisture. I read that putting some sand (about 1.5 inches or so) on the top of the soil helps drive insects away (if they live in your soil) if not, you could use some water and soap, spraying every inch of the plants... Unfortunately I'm not too sure where to find neem oil myself, but if you go to a home hardware/garden store and ask for help, they probably have tons of shit that would do the trick.

Good luck

well this is all i could find im not completely sure its what everyone is talking about when it comes to neem oil but it should do the job. i musta read 100 different bottles before i picked this 1

i had my girlfriend ask the questions wall i just kept looking at bottles :-). the lady said not to apply it in the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest and to apply late evening. so does that mean i should apply before the lights go off? being as the lights are always the same brightness. or would i be fine just spraying this stuff on as is right now? well go be the directions ofc shake well ect..

well i just treated them with a quick spraying once over on both plants. cross your fingers and hope this shit doesnt kill my plants or burn them to death.
fdd recomends this on another post i would trust him since he
has alot of years of growing
i dont have time to order stuff :-/ insects need to be taken care of at first sign :-/
they have 5 hours left untill there lights shut off. i figured it was better to get the stuff on abit before hand instead of right before lights go off. i dont want this stuff drying up and clumping to my leaves

Well you wont know for sure until you treat the bugs. If your plants improve then great! If not, post more pics and hope someone can identify the issue. Either way, if the bugs are contibuting to any of the 'symtoms' the correct diagnosis will only be possible once those symptoms are gone.

Take care.

Hey. Alright so i will sum a few things up really fast i guess.

There about 10 weeks old. started 12/12 on friday. this was also the first time i gave them any nutes. gave them Schults 10-15-10 at 1/2 strength

In Veg they where under 4x 100watt Equi cfls
Friday i Switched them to 4x 150watt Equiv cfls 2700's
1 is in MG Organic
1 is in MG Potting Soil
They are abit stretched because i was on vacation and i raised the lights up abit. not that they where not alrdy stretched abit but meh.
I do not over water. i make sure to use my moisture meter almost religiously
In there younger stages they fought heat problems for awhile but have recovered from that sense
I was very happy to find that they where still alive and well when i got back from vacation. how ever i do have a few questions and concerns.

1. See that bottom yellow Leaf. is that from me giving them to much nutes? that was not yellow when i left.
Humidity stays around 45% and temps very from 78-84.
Also Notice my 2 PC fans blowing in the side. these are my intake fans i also was usen to beat the branchs abit for strength is it bad there right on the plant? they are not very strong fans
2. Notice the top halfs of the plants are nice and perky. And the bottom halfs are kinda slouching. This was like this for at least a week before i went to 12/12. i hoped it would correct its self.
3. Also notice the Plant on the right the leafs are are kinda curling in.. This has also been like this for 3 weeks give or take with no change.
4. If you notice anything else let me know :-)
5. Should i start adding molasses at this point and how much?
I just actualy walked in the door not to long ago.
Also if you need anymore info dont be afraid to ask.
Oh and the Piece is just something i picked up wall on vacation and hopen my dry spell will end soon so i can use it. been 2 weaks sense i got baked.
typical sign of heat stress and also maybe over watering

I had a similar problem with a plant months back. It turned up to be a salt buildup on my root system. I had to flush with just water for 2 weeks to remove the issue all together. NOTE: I wasn't using soil with auto-nutes, so thats why the flush worked. Since your running MG soil I'm not too sure a simple flush will help. You may want to purchase some Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and transplant your plants while being as delicate as possible.

They have fully recovered from there heat stress they had months ago. From my closet i had them in that was far to hot. we ruled heat stress out. due to there temps are always in the mid to high 70's some times 84 but only on the hottest days. I have a AC that keeps the temps at 75. when it goes anything above 75 it kicks on.... and its NOT over watering lol. If anything its under watering.

In order to transplant i need to go to a bigger pot correct? that or i need to remove all soil from root and then put into new soil. and i believe that is not possible. and if i go to a bigger pot the pot will not fit into my grow cabinet i made. i might try to flush if removen the bugs doesnt make a differance. i think for the most part the soil is all outa the auto feed nutes

If they are tiny little white, yellow or lime green insects that have rice grain shaped bodies they are Thrips. They are evil little bastards that hangout on the underside of your leaves and leave glossy almost shiny silverish markings on the top of the leaves. They attack the plants cell walls and uptake the nutrients from them. If you have the problem you should see small tiny little black dots around affected leaves, which turn blotchy yellow. They can very quickly kill your plant in a matter of a week if you have a bad infestation. I used Shultz Fruit and Vegetable Garden spray. Killed them in a few days! Best part you can use it upto the same day of harvest (as stated on the bottle) anyway here is a link of the stuff, you can find it at any Lowes or Home Depot. Its cheap, easy to find and works great:

Also adding a pic of thrips.

i saw a bottle of that stuff. that was actualy my first choice that i was going to buy. but ended up with that neem stuff. only time will tell i guess if that stuff did its job. the little fuckers where to small to really tell what kinda shape they where. they just looked like a grain of sand that jumped 10 inchs in a single bound
