What's going on here?

So I'm not entirely sure I had fixed the problem but I certainly halted if for a while.. then when I used new lights and res again And shit went South fast. I could be a mix of all these things I suppose, I've just got them on light feed and in intense lights now I'll give them a week or so see if they pick up.. the strange thing is the root ball was huge and very very healthy looking
Yeah I have light issues too. Probably worse than yours, but mine are much further along than yours. Plus I stopped feeding two weeks out only to find I have another week or two. so theyll go for a month or more without food. Thats taking its toll. Some strains are light sensitive, which I took to mean that you had to be careful with light leaks. Now I'm beginning to think it has more to do with the intensity of the light. I have a dimmable HID and I started out on low (600W). Now I'm at 1000W, the ballast says it goes to 1150 or 1250W. But I think the 1000 might be on the high side for these genetics. Maybe your having a similar issue.

Ok so, think i just wrecked my girls by over lighting them..they possibly have picked up.. being early in veg this might not be that bad but it's possible that too much light late on could be the issue ur having ?

The way I see it is a light has a footprint that you use to determine what light, what tent/room. Most lights have specs that'll tell you their coverage in veg and flower. So I picked a light that would cover 5 x 5 (my tent size) in flower. I almost made the mistake of getting a light that covered 5 x 5 in veg which is like 3.5 x 3.5 in flower. So I have the right light for the tent, I just couldn't keep up with the growth explosion around week 6. I LST'd and defoliated over and over and I was still moving my light up every day. I just ran out of vertical room. To be fair they told me the genetics were 70% indica so I never thought height would be an issue.

But I had my seedlings under the big light by week two. I got a little blurple for week one. So I don't think its the wattage of the light as much as how close/far from the plants it is.
