Had a decent menu with steak in teriyaki sauce with deep fried rice balls broccoli and veg. Gazpacho to start and a steamed pear with brandy snap and other tasty stuff that I cannot remember now lol

Bit late for pics. Was too busy nomming the shit out of it. That. And we're in the middle of a blackout. Not exactly high on my priorities list. Was good grub though.

snake and pygmy pie! nice. no pic or is it too late.

I've neglected this thread as mostly I've not cooked anything proper for months. I've started seeing a vegan which has thrown my repertoire into chaos.

Any tips @sunni
Just make food naturally vegan
Don't try to Over complicate it
Start with foods already vegan than work your way up into the more "complex" stuff

Egg replaces -
1 tablespoon ground flax with 3 tbs water set in fridge can do same with ground chia seeds

Also applesauce or bananas if you're baking

cool thanks Sunni, yeah not complicating it and letting the flavours speak seems key as far as I could tell. I've been reading a lot of Jamie Oliver's vegan stuff he tends to focus on just good vegetarian stuff.

I'm still struggling with the whole 'this would pop with a little meat'.

Hows the little one? Alaska?
