chicken kabobs before the grill (onion, zucchini, muchrooms, red/yellow peppers)

olives and goat cheese

veggies/crackers with dip (guac and hummus)

some mixed nuts

salad - made a homemade dressing for this, first time I ever used anchovy paste

plate of food


my guests brought the bean salad and couscous. it was my brothers first Fathers day as a Dad so he brought his little guy over and we grilled and ate outside. First day all week it hasn't rained, a great day

Red velvet cake with nutella forsting, strawberries soaked in Ice wine, pistachio ice cream, creme anglaise, marinated plum, raspberries and a chocolate wafer with sea salt.

EDIT: did a wedding at work....

Yikes, I understand. I'm at a private country club, so I have my choice. Everyone should be so lucky...
Why my time as a butcher and fishmonger was my fav job ever. For 3 years i got to take home the same produce the likes of Stein, Clark, Ramsay, Blumenthal, and Roux were using :) Fillet steak was on the menu about 3 times a week. Now i get home from work and have walls sausage rolls :/
