Ended up making a soup/stew thingy out of left over brisket , chucked it in the cast iron camp oven
with some , onion , cauliflower , potato , left over roast chicken from yesterday , parsley , bay leaf , a little paprika , salt n pepper ,
oh yeah and some chopped cos lettuce with heaps of water , turned out a treat !
I cooked it for 13 hrs , i had to keep burning wood on the fire to supply the hot charcoal to cook it .
Hot charcoal layed in a hole , then camp oven sits on top , cover sides and top of lid with charcoal .
Then buried with top soil from the hole i dug .

That's some insane dedication for a pot of soup! Looks good :) Only kind of soup i'd put that much time into would be for a pho. although would love to have a crack at cooking meat that way, saw it on bizarre foods and though mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

So, Saffron and smoked paprika rice pilaf, marinaded veggie salad (roasted egg plant, carrots, mushrooms, orange/green peppers, apples slices, tomato), and some simple, simple pork chops. Seared, then finished in the oven.

porketta bingo!

so basically everyone goes to this bar here in town,
you pay 10$ for an entry, and you get a paper with like 3 cards on it, the annoucer calls out the cards, so if you get the joker, you yell out Rob Ford, and if you get the queen of hearts you yell BITCH
you get the begining card which is called the Vag card, you yell onomnomnom

anyways if he calls out all your cards you yell porketta and you get porketta for your table if you didnt get all the cards correct everyone yells you fucked up three times. , but youre allowed to bring other food, so 10 of us today we have crackers, chips, cheese, hummus, dips, taco chips salsa, pickles, olives.
was fun hahah
