Do you know that only a percentage of people whom develop "asparagus urine odor" can actually smell it ?

"In 2010, the company 23andMe published a genome-wide association study on whether participants have "ever noticed a peculiar odor when you pee after eating asparagus?"[45] This study pinpointed a single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in a cluster of olfactory genes associated with the ability to detect the odor. While this SNP did not explain all of the difference in detection between people, it provides support for the theory that there are genetic differences in olfactory receptors that lead people to be unable to smell these odorous compounds."

But man, do I love that stuff cooked on the grill.
(And yes, I can smell it)

I never knew that about the asparagus and like yourself I love it.

Hah, I'm always surprised at how fast it effects the smell in your pee. Seems almost instantaneous. But yeah, asparagus on the grill is awesome. Just a little olive oil, kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. Completely different flavor than if you just boiled or steamed it.

There's apparently a porn star who eats nothing but strawberries for 3 days to make his err ejaculate taste of them. Whether its bs or not I don't know.

Lol didn't know how quite how to phrase that, this being a international thread some of ya are eating breakfast....

No, it's just 'bathtub' sauce.

About a:
1 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup Ketchup
3/4-1 cup White Vinegar
1/4 cup Onion chopped fine
1/4 Jalapeno chopped fine
1 tsp of Liquid Smoke
1/2 tsp Red Pepper flakes
1/2 tsp of prepared Mustard
1 clove Garlic diced fine
Dash of Mexican Oregano
Salt & Pepper

Bring to a boil, then simmer, burn mouth tasting while adjusting to taste. :bigjoint:

appetizer night, brushetta bread chiptole lime finger 2 types of hummus (roasted red peppers, chickpea and pine nuts) and veggies and crackers and a salad

realising you don't have to cook dinner when you get in = ace!

realising you need to go to the shop for a vital ingredient before you set off to work, sucks the big one. :(
