I have always done this... didn't know i was a pro:o I get lucky I guess I did it because hate when onions fall apart

Plus didn't know it help prevent tears ... WTF:confused:

Phyllo wrapped shrimp (I bought way too much shrimp for the dumplings) with three dipping sauces. A lime/cilantro sauce. A soy sauce, ginger, green onion, chili pequin, and a touch of sesame seed oil dipping sauce. And finally a Thai hot peanut sauce. Iced herbal peach tea was the beverage of choice. It's sooooo hot. :(

I Love being able to imagine taste in my head. I think that is what makes a good cook. Yes cooking the meal correctly is important but infusing it with the right spices and complimenting flavors are the most important part. i know all those ingredients and i can taste it . BTW ITS GOOD
 
Q'd up a tri-tip and made some mac n cheese and some corn. Left over tri-tip will turn into breakfast burritos in da morn. Stay high.
 
Tonight we had a simple meal. It's so hot and dry outside. I'm waiting for San Juan County to go up in flames. I made barbeque chicken with an apple/bacon barbeque sauce. A small salad with a citrus/sesame dressing and the beverage was frozen virgin margaritas. Chilled watermelon for dessert. :)
