What is the PH of your water?

And if you say that you dont know, buy a PH meter and find out. Nobody can guess your chemical balances from sight...

Sounds like you are feeding them too much. The tops of the plants are perky which means they are getting plenty of ferts. I would flush and start at 300 ppm (half your original) until they start to eat and your ppm's lower.

...this is how I flush, if it helps.

I run flood beds, ebb'n flow style. General Hydroponics, floramico + bloom (Lucas Formula) for ferts....clearex and sweet for flush. I do my flush 2 weeks before harvest.

I empty the res, then refill adding "Clearex". I flood my bed for a constant 1 hour with the clearex....I empty the res again. Then I refill adding "Sweet" up until harvest...give it a try, works great! :eyesmoke: >>> https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/338720-lucas-formula.html#post4267692

...empty res, refill with ro h20 and Clearex. >>> http://www.planetnatural.com/site/clearex.html
...after your 1 hour flood with clearex, refill with ro h20 and Botanicare "Sweet" ( I run sweet the last 2 weeks before harvest) >>> http://organic-hydroponicsupplies.thebigtomato.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=tbt&StoreType=BtoC&Count1=836574733&Count2=753715157&ProductID=2214&Target=products.asp&utm_medium=cse&utm_source=googlebase

...then check your pH, make sure it's in range (5.5-5.9), or close to.
...only add ro h2o from that point on until harvest. Good luck.

i dont have those products or the 160 gallons of R/O for two res changes back to back . that seems like a waste . thanks for the replies . very good lesson learned here

Well typically people asking for help are having problems. They dont know what is wrong. So, when you said your PH was *fine* that didnt tell experienced growers much.

As it turns out it was a PH problem and you solved it, good for you.
