What’s causing this I’m using coco perlite 70/30 the lower leaves bleaching and yellow patches

They don’t look bad, but they could use some help. We need some more info here bud. First off, what are you feeding them and how often? Coco doesn’t have nutrients in it - it’s a neutral medium. If you’re not feeding them, then they need food.

Also, coco needs to be watered differently than soil. Your medium looks pretty dry, whereas coco does better when you don’t allow it to dry out.

Feed daily to good runoff full strength feed for adult veg plants my guess something like .8ec to 1.2ec maybe more if it needs it. Dont add calmag it will lock out your other nutes. Nutes for hydro have enough calmg for coco they factored that in. Some people do but its just a tiny tiny emount and for good reason, not “just because.”

It will either get pale so up the EC, if its becoming dark and suddenly burning up and fading its overfed. To lower the ec but be careful, you might pass the sweet spot. If my sweet spot is 1.2 ec I make sure its no more than 7ppm more or less than the target range. So 1.19ec to 1.21ec.

Its important as it reduces the plants need to adjust its sugars in roots to pull up nutes if its suddenly a different concentration. Keeping it close allows plant to focus energy on other things.

Once you have that sweet sppot I find if you keep it there and only play with the frequency, it should make it to harvest. If it needs more dialing in like playing with ph or changing the ec, thats like 10 years experience reflecting those decisions. Id keep it simple like me 3 years old just keep that sweet spot.

If you run clones now you know what EC it needs from start to finish. Every pheno can be different especially different strains. A lot of times the phenos same strain will need the same ec but its possible it can be an odd one needing more or less.

You got like a month to figure out that sweet spot but it goes fast so try to really focus here. You probably wont figure it out in two weeks if you flip to flower so Id find that first. Once youve done it once or twice then you can risk throwing a plant into flower still not knowing its sweet spot. So I wouldnt flower until then as I take it this is your first few grows in coco?

When I say it takes like 10 years to know how to play with ph and ec I simply mean hey, my plants arent always perfect at harvest. Theyre pretty nice in sense they made it to true harvest the very end. Sometimes theyre perfect, sometimes they look like they needed more attention to detail.

Because last time I tried changing the ec it just became deficient. Changing ph because its fading a little bit and want more of mutes from a certain side of spectrum. Because some nutes absorb better at those ph but Im just saying Id keep it simple for now. Even Im not ready to do that.

Are you feeding daily to substantial run off?
Plants that size in those small pots could be fed multiple times a day.
Also.......are you removing the run off?

I’m re potting them in 2 days into 5L pots
