What’s a possible yield w/ 4k w LED/8x8 room/12 plants

Currently putting together a blueprint/equipment list while I’m flowering my first ever yield.. I wanna do some big upgrades. Wondering what a possible yield could be with

4x 1000 w LED lights
8x8 room
12 plants
24-36k btu mini split

25 gallon pots coco/perlite/w castings
OR
17 gallon totes while running a 12 site 17g tote RDWC set up with water chiller and all that good stuff ?

Personally, I'd rethink the huge bags of coco, it just isn't necessary. Coco is better in smaller containers that can be fed more frequently, preferably automated. Some of the guys here have some awesome automated coco grows. I've never done any DWC outside of individual buckets, so I can't comment on that idea. Are you sticking to 12 plants due to plant limits?

Are they really 1k leds?

3 gallon fabric pots will probably be good using coir.

most strains have yield estimates posted but if you figure 8oz per 2x4 area then around 2lbs. Of course it could be way more if you know what you’re doing and run strains with big buds.

Why does it matter? Anyway your yield will be directly proportional to your skill as a grower.

are they 1000w equivalent lights because if they are then they’re most likely between 70w-150w depending upon type and not enough for a 4x4.

most people using LED over 4x4 usually opt for around 450w-660w LED’s.

what’s the actual power draw of those 1000w LED’s?

lol you guys. I’m a first time grower but I Atleast studied all of the most basic stuff.
Yes, when I purchase and upgrade from my 1k HPS hoods. I will be spending around $3200-4000+ on 4x LEDs. Because I plan on ending up with 8x 1000 watt LEDs inside the new 22’x10’ room I’m building next

I’m growing in a 8x8 w/ 4000w HPS with 5.5 gallon air pots & 12 plants at the moment. I’ve learned the bigger the pot, the bigger the root system hence giving you a bigger and wider tree.

What brand / model l.e.d.'s ? , that alone will give you an idea on potential yield along with genetics.

I was actually thinking either that or 12x 17-27gallon totes with a 50-100 gallon main res tank with a 1 1/2 HP water chiller RDWC system. With a 12x output air pump 3600 GPH with 2x 8” circle air stones in each tote

I haven’t picked out a specific LED but I have a few in mind. Which would be… I could possibly run 800w LEDs instead. Just depends what I can afford after this yield. I know for sure I’ll spend min. Of 3-5000 on lights for my new run. I was looking at these, also the 600 watt one for $500. Know anything about them ?? If there any good, I wouldn’t mind running 8x in my 22x10 room. The stats on them look pretty solid, no?

It was just a simple question. I understand what you’re saying but a quicker reply of a approx number would have been sufficient but thanks Either way, You’re correct
If it was my grow, with that equipment I could estimate. I know me. I don't know you at all and I've seen legions of newbies slaughter their entire grow in the last month. Prospective business advantage depends on your ability and knowledge.

I may be a first time grower. But I spent 7000 on my 8x8 room snd here my plants from about 5 days ago. But the two with my hand on the picture are from today. They’re only 31 days into flowering. So I can actually grow 12x plants under 3k watts in a 8x8 (I have 4x 1000w installed but been using 3 till I get my mini split next week or so) without it dying before going full on retard into something major lmfao

I wanted to scrog and I actually have a pvc frame and net inside the room but I took it off because I was going to set up my diy self draining/watering system

Here’s my setup… reducer tape got hot and weak and fell off the 12” inline fan so ima take it down today and weld the reducers on so they won’t ever fall off again

That’s great then. I guess you don’t need a forum for help.

personally I would be saying utilise your 4x1000w and actually make money before you’ve sunk $10k into a room that’s only had 1harvest from it.

but What do any forum members know.

Good luck and I hope you make it to harvest.

@Pauly1118 Not sure why you're getting your head bitten off for asking an innocent question... Sorry for that brother.

It's clear you have an understanding of what you're doing, especially for your first grow. Keep up the good work. I grow pretty basic, Sunshine mix #4 in 5 gallon pots, organic nutrients, hand watered... Nothing automated over here. So I don't have much for advice to give you lol. But your plants and set up look great, good work!
