Just buy a vivosun and check it out. Cheap enough. I used 1000w eye hortilux for years. Good stuff. Tried a cheap one, and switched to vivosun. I have DE MH and q-board spider farmer 2000 and a knockoff. The HPS makes the biggest buds. The MH makes them tighter, more fragrant, and way more trichomes. Haven't used the LED for flower yet. I would like to for the summer. Maybe next season... The knockoff is slightly brighter. Vivosun too maybe.
My preference is to flower with the HP for 7-8 weeks and to ripen under MH. I wish I had listened sooner. And I use 11/13 light cycle.

can you elaborate on why you should have used 11/13 instead of 12/12?
