What would you do?

I was at my parents house for dinner last week. We were sitting on our back porch and I could smell something skunky. I had a pretty good idea what it was, but I didn't know where it was coming from. I asked my step dad what the smell was and he said that it was the exhaust vent from his neighbors grow room. The guy growing the weed is renting the house from my step dad and has his medical card and my step dad could care less. The thing is now I want to go over there and introduce myself and see if we could work out some sort of patient/caregiver type situation. I was going to just go and knock on the door but figured that doing so may not go over too well. I would be kinda pissed if someone that knew I was growing told someone else, but then again I would probably be happy to work something out with them if they wanted to work out some sort of deal with me such as my case. I guess I'm just curious to hear what some other grows might think if someone showed up at your door in the same and for the same reasons.

Just leave him be...If he needs help or new patients, I'm sure he'll find some. If someone showed up at my door for that reason, I'd try to break my lease and find a new spot to grow at. Even if I stayed put, I'd constantly be worrying about that person who knocked on my door, wondering how many people THEY told. In general, I just think it would cause me to stress out.

Then I gotta worry about my landlord telling people I grow, which apparently he IS, even if it was just his stepson. No, I think if I want someone to know about my grow, I would tell them myself...And if I found out other people were talking about my grow, I'd be somewhat mortified.

Edit...Michigan, eh? Yeah, I'd just leave him alone. But that's just me.

Just grow your own if you have a spot to do it, you'll be glad you did

As for everything else, I agree completely which is why I decided not to go talk to the guy. I'd hate to ruin it for my step dad and/or make the tenant paranoid. The tenant and I do have some mutual friends that he doesn't know about so I'll try to work it that way, which is what I was going to do anyways. I just got curious to know how others would react.

if it was me id try to catch em outide 1day smoking asked to hit it then bring up about mmmp and go from there dont say anything about him growing inless he brings it up to ya otherwise id leave em alone

Tell him he needs a carbon filter.

the tenant must not be too paranoid, if you could smell the grow exhaust. that should be addressed or the tenant will f' up the whole thing himself. tell pops to carefully mention smell, or tenant may get unwanted visit.
