well, the best is subjective. From a geometry standpoint, those cooltubes offer significant disadvantages over a full size, flow-through reflector. The models of cooltube with an EXTERNALY mounted reflector, are much better than the one pictured above. Depnding on the area you are trying to illuminate, there are sveral good reflectors. And lots of crap ones. No one reflector is appropriate for all situations.

What are the dimensions of your area? Are you using the whole area for plant canopy?

im doin a sea or green 9 plants in 3 x 3 area but my grow space is really big but im just gonna use 3 x 3 square feet

I would search around for better bargains. The prices seem a bit on the high side comparred to the same products from other sites.

I prefer my cooltubes to have an internal reflector, because they are more light-efficient that way. Why? Because glass disperses light. With a reflector external to the tube, light that initially goes upward (the top of the bulb) has to go through the glass, hit the reflector, then go through the top of the tube and then the bottom of the tube -- three passes through the glass and one bounce off the reflector. With an internal reflector, that light hits the internal reflector, then one pass through the glass on the way down, saving two passes worth of light dispersion through glass.

ive checked everywhere and for a cool tube and electronic ballast this is buy far the best deal if anyone knows a cheaper site post it up i live in canada
