I called a 1 800 number on a bag of cracker jacks and told them to put more peanuts in the bag..And they sent me a coupon for two free bags, so it works pretty good...good luck..

in 9th grade, we had to write to a business for a writing assignment. i wrote to olive garden and said i was offended by their use of italian stereotypes in commercials.

they sent me $50 in gift certificates, which i gave to my parents.

back in college, i would call 1800 numbers on boxes to ask really stupid questions when i was high. sometimes they sent me coupons just for asking if i should still cook the totino pizza after my dog peed on it.

You should call Wendys..They might give you a book of coupons if you promise to be nice...
 
When I was in the tenth grade I wrote Reese's a letter complaining about how my Reese's Pieces always are melted in the summer months and they sent me a styrofoam box with 10 bags stored with ice packs. I felt like I won the Powerball lol.
 
In all honesty I have never rung up a company to complain about their product. But with all the stories of freebies, I think I will start...
