What would you do about this?

This is a sour diesel, central Ca coast, outdoor grown in 15-gal smart pot in soil. Got clone from dispensary and immediately went outdoor in April. Had issues with re-vegging for the first few months. For the past week some of the branches that re-vegged stopped growing while a bunch of new healthy growth shot out of others.

What would you do with the old growth that has pre-flowers and stopped growing?

Is it time to lollipop the plant?

New growth coming in OK?

I've never gotten a clone from dispensary...but heard that they are notorious for disease and pests...plus you are outside and so at even more risk.

So watch carefully and maybe get a jewler's loupe and inspect for bugs. I know this is off topic but I just can't seem to stop my fingers.

I wouldn't necessarily lollypop but I sure would cut all that old dead crap off.

Thank you so much! Yes, the new growth is coming in very vibrant and healthy. I have been trying to control the spider mites, bugs, etc with a homemade 100% neem oil, soap and purified warm water spray every 7-10 days.
