If. i harvested my buds. cut off the leaves and put the buds in a shoebox and buried it? think they would get moldy or anything?

No need to apologize, I've actually heard some urban legend about burying pot to increase potency, but it sounded like total BS to me.
Now if you buried it in a watertight container with quite a bit of silica desiccant (not right on the weed, but in it's own container w/holes in it) you might get better results. I'm guessing you want to do this to avoid the smell of drying buds?

yes basically i want to avoid the smell.
plus i dont have anywhere were i can control the temp of the room that good b'c the plants im growing are fully outside. like what about an attic? or would it get too hot a humid up thier in the summer?
