What will shade do to my grow?

I think you were right in thinking the light from the street light kept her from flowering. Shade might effect size and quality but won't prevent her from flowering.

If it ain't an autoflower.... it ain't gonna start blooming til fall
when daylight starts getting closer to 13/12 hours a day...14 doesn't cut it...
But that streetlight ain't gonna help either...Just my TOO SCENTS

Street lights are a highly debated topic. Last year I had both street lights and a neighbor with security lights that shine into my yard all night long, and my girls flowered fine. As with many things, some strains might be more sensitive to light at night than others.

That said, this last winter my city converted to LED/COB street lights, and they went from very warm to very cool in color. The brighter bluish/white light might give me some problems, I will find out this summer.
