What will happen if harvest early...

I am forced to harvest my crop early, and was wondering what I will be missing out on such as yield, potency, taste etc. The nugs are pretty resinous already and have a strong sour and fruity taste, and still have another week or so left. Total flowering time would be 45 days, I believe the strain (raspberry cough) pretty much has a standard flowering time.

I know of no strains that ripen in 45 days. Most are 65 days or longer - under lower wattage's (than 1000W).

You may expect a green chlorophyll taste, racy high, and slightly lower yield. Be sure to flush out the nitrogen, and cure properly at least

they look nice man I thought that had a long flowering time. It's hard to judge from the pics but some of it looks about done and some looks a couple weeks short of harvest. If you have no other choice but to harvest than who knows what you could have had, but the yeild will be slightly less maybe 25% less weighty, Very airy and not as potent. It will have a more racy high that borderlines on a caffeine buzz for me. It's not as desirable IMHO and the taste will be very more like grass instead of buds. Speaking of taste from the look of them they are still getting plenty of fertilizer and the smoke might be harsh and not burn right. I know I'm smoking some right now that are obviously slightly premature and not flushed well. Unless your growing organically and even than try to give some plain water for as long as you can (10-14 days)for the best quality but your buds will be decent no doubt.

yeah at least it will get you high. your missing out on some potency taste and yeild just do it all right cut it right dry it and cure it right and you should still be happy 45 days is a lil over 6 weeks you usually want to go for at least 2 more weeks too bad you couldnt put it off till then. good luck

by the way, what is a racy high?

oh i don't know it's more like speedy and paranoa inducing lol. Like I love the taste of coffee but it gets me pretty amped especially when you chug it like I do.
