Okay, I will say this…. I’m subpar the newbie level. I literally have no idea what I’m doing. I am definitely trying to educate. However, the first plant is literally my test dummy. I just put the seeds in the soil and and wished it well. Now I am at a little over two months and it’s so short, the leaves are small and plentiful. It has the most minimal smell. I don’t know. Remember it’s just a plant … like a tomato or house fern. It needs very little … water , light and occasional feeding.
You literally could buy just some JOBE’S Organic plant spikes and feed with those. Nothing special.

This way you get simple experience

Might want to start training, tie top down so tip is lower than main stalk. It will give you more.

Also, when my plant needs light, should I shut the curtains so that the lights show more on the plant or is it getting the same direct light from the bulb? It may sound a little goofy. I can’t see the light when the curtains are open. I can see it more when they’re closed. I’m sure the natural light isn’t taking away from the bulb, right?
