I'm interested in hearing some stories!

So tell me about the absolute BEST day you ever had and what made it that way?

I can't think of shit right now, so I'll get back to this later...

my life must really be in the toilet because i can't think of anything, either. i can think of a 7 way tie for the worst day, though.

one of the days involved me parking my car on a lot atop a retaining wall, and the wall fell and my car was over. i had the car for less than a year and it was paid off, but was "valued" at about 40% of what i had paid in total, and i had paid the insurance for the year which only got partially refunded due to some fine print. then on the way home the cab blew a tire. i had to lol but i secretly wished i was dead. almost an hour i spent stuck on side of the freeway while the cops made their report (cabs have to involve the police in EVERYTHING) and everything got cleaned up. so finally they send another cab and i go home and remember i have no weed and no way to go get some. that day sucked. most of the others involve deaths and mayhem and whatnot.

The day that I can remember that always brings a smile to my face happened a few years ago. My sister had just moved into a house my family owned with her newly wed husband and I got the bright idea to scare the hell out of them after bar one night while kinda buzzing. The house that they moved into was still in the process of being renovated and had a second level but no stairs to get to it. Being familiar with the house and property I remembered there was a ladder in the garage that could reach one of the unlocked windows of the second floor. So at 4 a.m. I grabbed this ladder out of the garage and entered the upper level. Since I owned the house and it was still in the process of being remodeled I didn't care about damage and began to kick through the walls and jump on the floor directly over their bedroom. I could hear them below freaking out and asking each other what they should do so started kicking the walls and jumping harder, within a few moments they came running out of the house screaming in terror only to find me with my head poked from the window laughing in tears. That was one of my best memories.

I'd love to tell you all about it, but alas it hasn't happened yet. At least, I hope the fuck not.

wow i was looking at this post and trying to think about the one single best day in my life - and so many days came up! defintely a mood booster thanks for that - so ill chose one that has to do with weed :P.
so on my first trip to amsterdam i went alone and met with some friends later that week. the day they came i was under the impression that we are going to have 3 more days and then move on to ireland - but we actually had another WEEK AND A HALF LOL. so when my friends were there to keep an eye on me i tried some thai mushrooms (extremely hallucinative) i can just say all of amsterdam turning pink to being bathed in playing cards that was a night i will always remember.

My best day was when I was hit head on by a drunk driver, I was so close to home I could see that the front porch lights were on.

The car I was driving was bent in the middle, like a freaked out cat. The engine in my car had moved, the dashboard collapsed down on my legs, all the contents of the car was in the front seat, I hit my head hard (on what I don't know), they had to cut me out. The pickup truck that hit me had it's engine in the firewall, from the front you couldn't tell the manufacturer, his dashboard was warped.

My best day... because I walked away. I ended up in the hospital, but I was able to walk, they didn't think my legs would be ok once I was out of the car. Blessings come in many manners, the trick is to recognize it when it happens.

EDIT- I need to thank General Motors for making the car that saved my life.

1 time i was only 16 and was swerving outa control trying to get control and i went from the fast to the slow lane sidewayz and got t boned that time i was doing over 60 mph and rolled and flipped, the next time just fucking bald tires on a sharp curve going pretty slow like under 45 i just rolled and landed on my tires and drove off. for sure the speed limit there i think is 25 or 35 but ever one does 45 or more, and this happened at like 1 in the morning trying to go get food real quick and the road was damp but i completely blame that one on bald tires and the other one on lack of experience

The only "noted" best day ever was when I was about ~15-16 I think...? and my parents took me out to the desert to go shoot some of our guns (my first time shooting) AND to go to the local motocross track and ride my first dirt bike! Then the next day we were in the mountains and I was snowboarding. My parents always remind me "remember that day we took you shooting and riding dirtbikes and you were like 'mom I don't care if I die right now, this is the best day ever'?".

So there ya have it. I've had plenty of absolutely amazing days that last forever and are nonstop enjoyment. But when your older you lose that joy you used to get as a kid, and those were HUGE things for a kid to try for the first time.

fucking awesome!

best day of my life was my wedding day. just a euphoric, surreal day...every minute.

talking about car crashes, i nearly t-boned some dipshit today. i was driving home from work, doing about 45 on a wet road on a downslope. some dude was about to make a left turn onto the road i was on to go the opposite direction. i saw him make about 3 or 4 false starts at it while he had plenty of time, but once i got too near he remained parked.

but once i got REAL close, he decided that was when he would make his turn. what a fucking dipshit.

i locked up my brakes and stopped a few feet short of him. i caught a glance of him as he completed his turn, he looked confused and did not notice me honking and flipping the bird.

still not the best day of my life, but if i had been paying less attention, it could have been much worse :eyesmoke:
