What type of lighting??

Ok I plan on growing with two modified stinkbud systems that will measure 4' by 2' and are about 2' wide. This way I can grow 16 plants in a 4' by 4' area and harvest 8 plants every 4 weeks or so. The room will measure about 5' by 5' by 6'. My biggest concern is my height limitations being about 6'. I realise that the system is about 2' tall and the lights (if I where to go with a horizontal reflector) will take up about 18" so this only leaves me with 2 and a half' for the plants themselves. I also plan on running 600 watt lights. Any info and help will be greatly appreciated.

and you dont have enough room to grow in a perpetual cycle for 8 plants every month. You would need a different room to veg and clone and one to harvest.

You have 2-stink buds measuring 2' across making 4' and inside a 5'room. I would imagine you would have 3' left for vertical growth?

Throw out the stink buds and go with DWC or soil in 5 gallon buckets.

better have some good ventilation with 600's in a 5'x6' room

THE HPS doesn't penetrate that far so don't grow a plant taller than the light can penetrate Duh wasted space & premi buds.

Ok I apologize for being incomplete or pointless. I actually do not have my lights yet, I would like to run 600 watt hps, but am unsure wether or not to go with a cool tube, air cooled reflector etc. I do have a separate are where I plan to clone, veg, etc. My main question was what lighting setup would give me the most room for vertical growth.

cool tubes work great, i dont grow indoor anymore so im trying to get rid of my 19in cooltube, i also have a couple bulbs...if interested pm me

Can you use a led grow light with cfl lights when flowering???

If it's height being the issue than yeah cool tubes bro.. But you shouldn't have a temp issue with 2 600w HID's in that space.. I've got 2 air cooled 600w HID's in a 4'x4'x6.5' tent and maintain a steady 77f. 400cfm exhaust & carbon filter + fan speed controller.. Imcould drop my temps another 20 deg if I had to.

Hey Gonzo do you think id be ok with just one cooltube or is 2 a must?? Id much rather only run 1 if I can get away with it.

I follow the 50 w per sq ft blueprint. So a 5x5 room = 25 sq ft. 600w /25sq ft = 24 w per sq ft. At that point anything that is not directly under light will be deprived. 2 600 will put you in the 50w per sq ft ball park. And you will get more concintrated light spreadmover a wider area. This setup would be more efficient than running a 1000w. More lumens per watt and as I stated you would get a wider spread of concintrated light. Just my opinion though bro.
