What type of Hydro method is generally accepted as the best for yields?

For a person who knows how, it's DWC , RDWC.

IMHO I started with Ebb n Flow for my Veg and my first plant in flower.

Then I switched to Hempy using the wrong materials and my weight went up.

I use rock wool and expanded clay pellets and a dozen small holes instead of one larger overflow hole.

hempy is usually done with Perlite/ Vermiculite 90/10-80/20 or 100% perlite.

with hydro you need meters and it takes a slightly more attentive grower.

faster growing means faster problems come on, keep that in mind.

Soil is a great buffer and even if it is slower it can produce large plants.

Ratio of root ball to plant mass, I.E. Use a big pot with a lot of soil and let the plant Veg for 60-90 days minimum.

I flower one plant at a time, I might try two in 8 weeks when my tent is empty but I can fill it with one well trained plants.

Plant in my tent right now has Upward of 40 tops and she is. 15 days in flower.

r.d.w.c. vegges faster... builts stronger more robust roots faster, allows for maximum nute uptake... and your plants even bloom a few days to even a week faster then they would in soil

Switch,
I've heard that the undercurrent DWC is hard to beat.

I've done three types of hydro. SOG on an E&F table, Waterfarm and Hempy buckets. Waterfarm was by far the fasted growing of the three and the other two were still fast and about the same growth rate as each other. But admittedly, there were a variety of strains involved.

RDWC for the win. Me and my buddy are doing side by side comparisons with his 2x4 tent jusing soil, and I'm doing RDWC. We are currently in the 4th week of flowering and you can definitely see a difference. I have larger flowers and my ladies started budding a few days earlier than his. We are using the same nutrients and enhancers.

I think i've dam near dabbled with every setup out there. Except nft and hempy.
For me its, aeroflo style tubes for sog. Rdwc for trees.

I'm not even sure what my latest set-up is called. It's a flood/drain with the table boarded over and tiny netpots of hydroton sat in holes. The idea is that the roots grow out into air. The res is temp controlled with 2 large airstones. I'm toying with the idea of putting some nft fabric in the bottom of the table. ATM the roots are just leaving the netpot so my next problem will be working out the flood cycles. I'm thinking around once every 3 hours.

Best yielding, fastest and most efficient is aeroponics. I have grown every hydro system way out there and it is the best. Second best would something like the Under Current setup, then Ebb n Gro flood buckets, then DWC then straight flood tables but ti also depends alot on expirence, diligence, lighting, grow room, and feeding.
