Hi all! Newbie grower here!

I have a few plants in veg right now, all different strains, others are fine but this one is struggling.. I was going to lean towards it needing a 4-4-4 top dressing but figured I should ask first before jumping to the more nutes .. I don't have any more photos at the moment sorry

Black Swallow Living Soil medium
water pH to 6.5
LED HLG-550

Just looking at it, I don't think it needs more nutes, the leaves are a very dark green. Some plants/strains are just more picky/sensitive than others, so sometimes the one size fits all feeding/watering regimes have to be amended. I'd just water for a couple cycles, letting it dry back before watering again. You will hopefully get more input.

Even if you too dress that shit is gonna take a few weeks to break down. We need more info. That pot looks way way too small for that size of plant. If its living soil, good luck getting help here. I recommend you find a really good discord where the real experienced growers can be found. Some are here but your gonna get all kinds of wild answers and half of them won't even read your in living soil. Technically all soil is living or it should be. To me, its starting to choke out on some nutrient and ill bet its from being root bound. Foliar spray some calmag and repot that bitch.

Really appreciate it guys. The pot is absolutely tiny, for sure. The soil costs a fortune and I don't wanna up pot until I know it's a female. Ask me how many males I sunk time and soil into growing out already!

I may need to consider liquid nutrients if it's a nute issue. Foliar I'll try tonight too

Thanks again guys

I think its a combination of ph, too much nitrogen in your grow solution and cold when your lights go off, Invest in a. ph/ec meter, are these indoors or in a garage or something?

It's in a basement and it dips to maybe 65F dead lowest for this time of year. Cool, but not cold I thought!

I am in Canada and can't do much to combat this sadly, I'm not willing to run an unattended heater

Thank you for replying!

Don't let it sit on the floor, and if you can put it in a bigger pot do so. Insulation of some sort may help and or bringing your light closer if possible.

Yes. it needs transplanting. I always put a couple 2x4's in the drip pan to lift the pot out of any runoff and get it off the cement slab floor. When I grow outdoors, my nightime temps are in the low mid-50's, never had an issue. I even grew once at 7000 feet, the temp swings were outrageous, low 30's at night, 90+ in the daytime, RH in the low 20's, certainly wasn't optimum, but I got a harvest.

I completely agree about the pot too small.
It's way thirsty.
No problem watering twice a day till you know what you have.
