im using cfl's warm white for veg stage, will it still be cool to use the same bulb,,, another q wud u need more watts for ur flowering stage then veg stage?

this is what i have used for growing 3 - 4 mature, healthy plants with outstanding results! hope this info helps, good luck & keep us posted homeboy!

veg cycle:
4 - 23watt(100watt equiv.) Daylight(6500K) spiral cfl's
2 - 23watt(100watt equiv.) Warm White(2700K) spiral cfl's
18 hours light/6 hours darkness
veg for 30-60 days or until plant reaches 20 inches

flower cycle:
4 - 23watt(100watt equiv.) Warm White(2700K) spiral cfl's
2 - 23watt(100watt equiv.) Daylight(6500K) spiral cfl's
12 hours light/12 hours darkness
flower for 30-60 days(when trichomes turn orangish/amber then harvest)

if using HID lights the lighting schedules are exactly the same! the only difference is which HID light is used for what cycle of growth.

veg cycle using HID lights:
Metal Halide

flower cycle using HID lights:
High Pressure Sodium

during the veg cycle of a plants life, it looks for light that is closest to the blue/purple color of the light spectrum. this color of the light spectrum can be acheived by using Daylight(6500K) spiral cfl's or Metal Halide.

during the flower cycle of a plants light, it looks for light that is closest to the orange/red color of the light spectrum. this color of the light spectrum can be acheived by using Warm White(2700K) spiral cfl's or High Pressure Sodium.

the reason behind mixing Warm White(2700K) cfl's with Daylight(6500K) cfl's is to properly balance out the spectrum of light.

bulbs that produce the blue/purple color of the light spectrum are needed to imitate the longer spring/summer months when a plants veg stage occurs naturally. bulbs that produce the orange/red color of the light spectrum are needed to imitate the shorter fall/winter months when buds are produced by the plant!

yeah keep using them, when flowering you give them as much light you can afford. Make sure you've got reflectors on those bulbs or you're loosing most of your light radiating into space.
