What type (and make/model?) of heater do you use in your rooms?

I bought an oil-filled radiator with a digital thermostat and digital timer to keep my night temps up.
It was a DeLonghi from Lowes... about $70 (will be on sale soon for sure)...

Only down-side I'm seeing to using this...

Digital means it doesn't come back on if power is lost (so no external timers/controllers)...
The digital timer will not turn itself back on if power is lost for more than 2 minutes...

Can't exactly throw a UPS battery on it - so it sucks that if I loose power over the night I could still
end up getting screwed...

What would be a better solution? A true temp controller and something old-school/analog with just
an on/off switch? Sometimes old school is the right school....

If I go with a controller I'll probably look for one that can co-ordinate the fan and CO2 as well - in
case I ever go with CO2 (would like to near future)...

why don't you try and run your lights at night time when it's colder outside so that the heat given off from the lights is enough to keep the grow space cool? i do this in winter time and it surely helps things out..
in the summer i like to run at night for the opposite reasons, too damn hot in the days with the lights on, so by running at night i miss most of the hottest part of the days...

just a thought..

My room is cold as well at night so i bought a simple $28 heater (yes it was on sale) :P

It has a on/off switch but also has an internal thermostat so when it gets cold it turns on automatically

Keeping your lights on at night is a really good idea, i do this cause its winter time eh but a heater is a must so i can keep my room temp constant

Simple old school is the way to go on somethings man

Once I fix my ventilation problem, my biggest concern will be the intake air temperature really... and its effect on the whole big picture.

I haven't cutover to running @ night due to schedule when I can get in there and work with them.... and I would need to gradually shift
to the alternate time window... rather than a sudden change.... or just go for a prolonged dark period and give them light @ the new "on" time
a day and half from when I decide to do it... right?

I just bought a cheap $20 heater with an analog thermostat and used the lowest heat setting...set it low...checked the thermometer's max and min...keeps it in the range I want it...done :D

Thats what HID's do best produce heat, you even get a few usable lumen of light for your plant.:fire:

I just went to lowes and picked up a baseboard heater with a built in mechanical thermastat. Pop in a 20 amp 220volt fuse and you're good to go.

I use a cheep oil filled heater from walmart. Cost 30 bucks. It's ether on or off so I use my day/nite pos CAP temp regulator to turn it on at nite.

I use a 2ft 80w tubular heater during veg set on a timer to come on during the dark cycle.

During flowering my dehumidifier keeps RH down and temperature up.
