What to plant??

Hi All,

So I made the plunge and took advantage of Attitudes bday promo and ordered a crapload of seeds...got 50 for 190 with shirt/guaranteed shipping.

Anyways....as soon as they get in I want to get germing a handful veg them inside until late april/early may and throw them outside........my question is out of my list of ordered seeds which ones do the experienced outdoor growers here think would be my best bet for ease of grow/and good to grow for the area that I am in?......Okanagan area of BC.

plan is to dig holes and put in ff or mg nute soil and just leave em until late sept/early oct......probably will have a couple in my yard (large semiprivate yard) and then throw a half dozen or so a bit in the bush behind the house....near water so I can go and physically water myself when needed.

Seeds listed as below.....any help/suggestions is much appreciated.....will probably do 2-6 inside as well but haven't decided 100% yet.

I would do the Bubba, THC bomb, Big bud X White widow, jack diesel, Magic man, and grapefruit, maybe chocolate heaven as well. good bunch of seeds man hope too see some pics later in the season. Happy growing!

I hear wonders about Bomb seeds THC Bomb - will be trying it this year as well!

Thanks for the recs guys......quite excited for this as well!!....Keep the recommendations coming!!....Will be planting according to responses here and whats best for my area!

Dinafem Critical is another strain I would choose from that list. Its a Cup winner, an expensive seed with a great smell/taste. Reputable brand, they have some good strains. Including strains that do well outdoors.

Just don't grow sativa dominant strains with late flowering. They finish flowering late in October so if you have early frosts or cold fall - it may affect them. You don't want moldy buds. Mold and disease resistant outdoor strains really have an advantage in that.

Just giving the thread a bump for some more recommendations and such.....keeping in mind they will be vegged unitl late april/early may then put outside in16hrdays (okanagan) sept they get down to 12 -13hr days and I am looking for the best of these that will finish late sept/early Oct as we usually get a frost sometime in oct.

Have another question to add to my original post.....looking by my areas daylight hours (listed aug/sept below for reference).......so looking at this does this mean that I pretty much have to make sure that the flowering time for the strain is as short as possible?....looking at harvesting early/mid oct....and if they dont flower until 12/12 (which by the chart for the area says that 12/12 will start sept 24th!......Im confused now as I know there are MANY people in the area that grow outdoors but as I plan on keeping everything private I only have the net to rely on for help/answers/suggestions, lol.......now im sure they will go into flower at 13/14 hrs maybe?? and then just really start plumping up once it does actually hit 12/12 and it would be a max of 4 weeks after than that I would be harvesting as that would put me at Oct 24........anyways....any help/informed answers and such are much appreciated.

12/12 is not the exact point, I've had outdoor in AZ harvested before halloween,Especially if the plants aren't in light all day and the sun sets a little earlier, plants sometimes go to sleep before the sun is completely down in my yard so...Some strains start early and finish early, Jack strains are usually quick, I had a JTR in a bad spot and it was stresses from too much heat but I swear it was flowering in August somehow, jack diesel sounds badass, cheesecandy! hell yeah, I think goji og wins for names tho, Oh and if it's hot where you live aim for morning sun more than afternoon, also keep plants away from block walls in the heat, they radiate so much here they fry plants like sunny side up, and noone smokes runny yokes, nomesayin, awesome strain selection!

A lot of outdoors start flowering around 13.5 - 13 hours because of light / temp swing / nature.
