What to grow!?!

Hello this will be my first hps grow I'm getting a 600w hps cooltube and I'm looking for a good strain every time I find one I end up finding out its horrible. lol my target yield is 8oz I have advanced nutes jungle juice bloom, grow, and micro then I also have some bud candy. I will be using fox farm ocean forest soil in 5 gal buckets with holes in them plan on scroging alsso my first scrog but anyways I just wanted to ask if anyone here has a seed company and strain in mind they have grown and would suggest. thanks everyone

A nice cheese is always good if you ask me. I grow in a 75%coco coir 25% perlite mix, veg for six weeks from clone and use canna coco nutes with pk13/14. I never get less than 8oz per plant. If you are looking for 8oz I would suggest 2 plants with 8 weeks of veg. As it's your first grow I would avoid any kind of training other than the odd haircut here and there.

If you are really set on going for a scrog then I would suggest topping your plants twice in early veg.

Also, I would suggest adding some clay pebbles or some perlite just to really help with drainage. If you want 8 oz, this will help a lot

I say do an auto if it is your first hps grow or even first grow

With HPS you will get some really dense sticky buds and will also get a decent yield after an average time of about 2-3 months
