What To Do?

I cut down two girls down night before last. Wet trimmed, hung them in a cardboard box on fishing line. I checked the humidity in the box the next day, and humidity was 58%. How can that be in one day the humidity is 58%. Have I missed the cure in one day? The buds feel wet.will they mold if I put em jars, and cure?
Please help me with this I don't won't to screw this up.

Put the bud in a big jar and and put the humidity meter inside the jar with it. You should get a better read that way

Thanks I did that tonight, and I checked the humidity about an hour later, and humidity was 73 %. Wow now that's better …..thank you.

When hang drying I was 100% sure you want humidity between 45-55% constantly from day 1 of hanging.

It's not about the humidity of the air so much. If those buds are wet then keep drying. 58% in the room is where the bud will start to slow down in drying. They dry a little faster in the room, but I myself don't concern with dry times

If you do want to try slow, then put them in a jar for a day, leave em out for a few hours and put them back in the jar. Just watch for mold
